Johnson 3 core PVC flat cables are a type of electrical cable that complies with the Indian Standard IS 694:2010. The cables are designed to use in underground, underwater and wet surfaces. These cables are designed with annealed, bare, or tinned high-conductivity copper wires. The bunch conductors of the cables are insulated with a specially formulated PVC compound that has a high insulation resistance value. The insulation process is carried out on modern high-speed extrusion lines, ensuring high accuracy and consistency in performance. The outer sheath of the cable is made from a special grade of abrasion-resistant PVC compound that is impervious to water, grease, oil, etc. The cables are black in colour and printed with generic marking "Johnson Cables 3 Core Flat Cables". These cables have very good insulation properties when submerged in water and excellent mechanical and electrical properties. The progressive sequential length marking is present on every meter.
